The Project Brief – Ferry Lane, Walthamstow, London

Working for Legal and General, our brief was to design, create and install all of the joinery elements in the amenity spaces of a residential development. The development was a huge complex of 5 linking buildings with extensive amenity spaces including dining spaces, heated outdoor pool and an extensive gym. Utilising our inhouse design team and excellent communication skills we completed 3d designs and detailed samples; all contributing to the successful delivery of this project.

WHY PARAGON WAS CHOSEN

Legal & General’s plans for their first of many major developments in the ‘Buy-to-Rent’ sector gathered pace, it became apparent that to enable their vision to become a reality they would need to partner directly with a joinery manufacturer that was prepared to act on consultancy basis as well as manufacturer and installer. The architect’s vision needed attention to detail in order to develop it within the cost and time constraints of the project.

Paragon Design Joinery were appointed by major construction firm, Vistry Partnerships to work alongside the Project Managers, Cost Consultant and Architect along with developer Legal & General to develop this amazing scheme involving the fit out of the entrance lobbies, amenity spaces and restaurants.
